Safety
- Player Contact: Because both teams can snag and will be stopping the blitz, players must play at their own risk.
- No Unnecessary Roughness: No striking, kicking, hits, dangerous tackles, blindside blocks, or targeting the head or neck of another player.
Set Up
- Play on solid elevated surfaces
- Create teams of 2v2 up to 3v3
- No sides - this is a 360° game!
Rules
Offense (Tossing Team)
- Expand the cannon completely and load the ball before each toss.
- Toss the loaded cannon at least 10 feet high onto the landing zone to "pop" the ball out of the cannon.
- Earn points by competing to snag the ball first and return it back to the table before getting tagged by the non recovering team.
- You can snag the ball in the air or on the ground.
- Your teammates can help block when returning the ball back to the table.
- Important: Players are not allowed to touch the cannon while it is on or above the table.
Defense
- Earn points by competing to snag the ball first and return it back to the table before getting tagged by the non recovering team.
- You can snag the ball in the air or on the ground.
- Your teammates can help block when returning the ball back to the table.
- Important: Players are not allowed to touch the cannon while it is on or above the table.
Teams alternate tossing after every play.
What Happens
- All Players Go For The Ball: All players should be watching the toss and trying to predict the shot. Then players battle to snag the ball first. So move around, box out and position yourself well!
- Stopping the Blitz: The ball return (the blitz) can be stopped when a player from the non recovering team tags the ball runner. This may be played using flags, two hand touch, or with tackles when wearing proper equipment.
- Foul: If a player touches the cannon on or over the table, this is a foul and can result in a re-throw.
What Things Mean
- Live: A play is considered "live" when the cannon lands accurately on the landing zone and the ball successfully pops out of the cannon.
- Dead: A play is "dead" if the Caddy hits the table edge, misses the table entirely, or the ball remains inside the cannon.
- Fault: If a player's first toss is "dead," they are allowed one re-throw.
Scoring
Either Team
- Air Catch: +2 to catching team
- Ground Recovery: +1 to recovering team
- Ball Table Tag: +1 to recovering team that tags the ball to the table without being tagged first

VISUAL STEPS

Split Teams Around a Landing Zone
- Play on solid elevated surfaces
- Create teams of 2v2 up to 3v3
- No sides - this is a 360° game!

Load It
Before each toss, the Tossing Team will:
- Expand the cannon completely
- Drop the ball in the big hole
- Lightly push from the inside to make it stick
NOTE - do not load directly into the small hole from the outside.

Toss It
Toss the loaded cannon onto the landing zone to pop the ball out.
HEIGHT IS YOUR FRIEND... 10'+ HIGH!
Spiral - more pops and less lobs
Flip - random pops and lobs

Pop or Lob It
Land it accurately to eject the ball out and start the play.
- Popped Ball: Ball shoots out fast!
- Lobbed Ball: Ball lobs out slowly
- Dead Play: Ball doesn't come out
Missing the table or hitting the edge doesn't count and ends the turn.

Snag It
All players race to snag the ball first.
- Air recovery is +2 points
- Ground recovery is +1 point

Recover It
Battle to return the ball back to the table for extra points.
- Block for your ball runner
- Or battle to tag and stop the Blitz

Score The Blitz
Add up the points for the recovering team!

Winner!
First team to 11 wins!
- Must win by 2 or more.
